The Mahayana Diamond of Perfect Wisdom Repentance (Scroll 1) Ceremony

“The Repentance Liturgy of Mahayana Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra" is based upon the “Diamond Sutra” with the addition of the names of various Buddhas. It is a cultivation method that aims to bring about prajna wisdom and eradicate sufferings brought about by ignorance.
By prostrating and repenting sincerely to the Buddhas in the purity of the monastery, we show penitence for our transgressions caused by greed, anger and ignorance since the beginning of time. Consequently, our karmic hindrance will be eliminated.
Let each and every one of us repent and vow with a pure and devout mind, blessed by the Three Jewels, for enhanced wisdom and merits, health, peace and prosperity for our families, our country and the world.
